    The half-day tour of Toledo was excellent. Daniela was an excellent guide, telling us the history of Toledo in a wonderful way. Congratulations. Just one comment: there's very little time to walk around on your own. An extra hour should be included in the tour to allow for that free time. Thank you.

History

Toledo Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture in Spain, was begun in 1226 under King Ferdinand III and consecrated in 1273. It stands on the site of a former mosque, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of Toledo.
